One of our goals here at LivLife BIGGER® is to contribute to local causes, communities and projects that we find on the ground and can vouch for personally. Whether this contribution is financial or indeed via our time, skills or connections.

As a wise person once said:

“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.” – Nelson Mandela

Currently, there are two community-run projects run in the Eastern Cape of South Africa that we have had the privilege of spending time with. Both look after the wellbeing of children by providing a safe space for them. Many live in abusive environments, have HIV/AIDS, TB, Cancer and/or have lost parents to these (common South African) illnesses. The projects also look after children’s nutritional and educational needs, run adult learning programmes and support entrepreneurial initiatives for those living in the community. The Langbos food garden project enables people to permanently grow food for the 30-60 children that attend its creche, and aims to widen this training out to the local community.
